Kristin brings over 20 years of experience in the software industry to her role as an instructor in the Dept. of Computing Sciences at Villanova University. She specializes in software architecture, development and testing, and shares this knowledge with her students in both undergraduate computer science and graduate software engineering courses. Prior to becoming an instructor, Kristin taught as an adjunct at Villanova over a 10-year period while working full-time, teaching mainly in the M.S. in Software Engineering program, and she was part of the core team that developed that program. For six years, she ran her own consulting firm focused on enterprise applications, and delivered skillfully crafted solutions that delighted her clients. Prior to forming her firm, she worked on a range of high visibility, high value projects at several companies and exhibited a proven track record of success. She has an M.S. in Computer Science from Villanova, and a B.S. in Physics from Penn State. Her service activities for the Dept. of Computing Sciences include academic advising, the Grace Hopper Conference team, Villanova Women in Tech and the DEI committee.
