Karin Risi, Managing Director at The Vanguard Group and Villanova super alumnae, kicked off the day sharing her journey to leadership and her need to understand technology more so than ever. Karin motivated all in attendance to find the corporate fit and leadership support needed to grow and to continuous learn throughout ones career. Following the keynote were deep dives into machine learning, blockchain, and unconscious bias. After lunch, 3 additional breakouts focused on women in the c-suite, big data's impact on financial analysis, and the Facebook career journey of an alumnae. The day concluded with thought-leader Bettina Warburg's riveting projections on the impact of blockchain.
