Erin Arvedlund has joined Pensions & Investments in the newly created role of enterprise editor. Ms. Arvedlund, a veteran finance journalist with extensive experience in investigative journalism, started her new role on October 3 in New York. Ms. Arvedlund was most recently a business columnist at The Philadelphia Inquirer, launching her Your Money column in 2011. Ms. Arvedlund’s past work included reporting on the Bernie Madoff scandal, and her first book was published in 2009: “Too Good to be True: The Rise and Fall of Bernie Madoff.” Ms. Arvedlund also wrote a book on the Libor scandal. That 2014 book, “Open Secret: The Global Banking Conspiracy That Swindled Investors Out of Billions” covered how the London Interbank Offered Rate (Libor), a primary benchmark for short-term interest rates around the world, had been manipulated by major banks across the world.
