Raisa Velthuis
Raisa Velthuis is the Swift Family Assistant Professor of Finance at the Villanova School of Business. Her research interests are empirical asset pricing, institutional investment – in particular, hedge funds, mutual funds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) – and retail investors. Her work has been published in Management Science, the Review of Finance, and the Journal of Banking & Finance, and it has been cited by media outlets such as Bloomberg and the Financial Times. She holds a Ph.D. in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the Pennsylvania State University as well as the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) designation from the CAIA Association. She enjoys partaking in tech-focused workshops on topics that span from machine learning and AI to screencasting and website building.
